“Movement and ergonomics in the work environment”
Do your employees complain about muscle tension in the neck and shoulder area, lower back pain, or wish to replace their chairs and desks? A physiotherapist’s lecture on ergonomics and movement recommendations for the office can help improve employees’ well-being and productivity through simple practical tips.
This hands-on physiotherapist workshop shares a wealth of interesting knowledge related to physical health and connects it with mental health topics. The central theme of the lecture is the world’s best medicine, proven to extend life, improve mental health, and effectively treat around 40 chronic diseases. That medicine is movement. We will discuss proper dosing and various effective forms of physical activity. Additionally, we will cover (home) office ergonomics in detail. Several practical exercises will also be done together.

- Motivation for Movement: How much should you move daily, how many steps should you take, and why is it worth finding ways to live a more active lifestyle?
- Posture Problems and “Tech Neck”: How seriously should we take these issues?
- Most Effective Accessible Health-Supporting Exercises: What are they?
- Exercises for Better Well-being: Which exercises can improve how you feel at home or in the office?
- Ergonomics: Is there such a thing as the perfect chair, desk, and sitting posture?
- How to Combat Muscle Tension: Tips for relieving neck and shoulder tension, preventing lower back pain, and easing wrist and elbow discomfort.
- We will also talk about protecting your eyes and many other interesting health-related topics.

- Painkiller use, massage gun application, and much more interesting information.
We welcome training requests from companies at info@fysioteraapia.ee. If possible, please provide the planned date, training duration, target audience, group size, and your vision for the topics.
“Individual ergonomic workstation setups and team exercises”
We offer the possibility to invite a physiotherapist to your office, who will review the workstation and provide solutions for various musculoskeletal issues by addressing the root cause of the problem. We adjust monitor heights as needed and analyze the arrangement of work tools, helping to find the optimal chair settings tailored to each employee’s anatomy. Often, we conduct a lecture followed by a walkthrough of the office, during which interested employees can discuss their concerns. We provide individual advice and guide small teams through exercises.
